Hi folks,
can`t help thinking how nice the Mitsubishi Pinin looks, the trouble is that they are all petrol driven. Does anyone know of a small economical diesel that will "slot right in there!"
Many thanks,

Not that will slot right in. If I was doing this, I'd look at the possibilities of using the Peugeot 1.9 diesel. But, there will be a lot of work involved, from engine mounts to adaptors for the gearbox/engine join. Not straightforward!! Regards,

Thanks Hoodoo, I`m not thinking of starting on this yet, but when I do I will consider the Peugeot 1.9 as a starting point. I agree there will be lots of measuring and fabricating involved, but I`m still interseted in trying something like this. On the negative side, I saw a really nice rebuilt Series 2A today and I had to think that something like that might be less pain.
Many thanks,

I learnt to drive on the Series motors, and have always thought about getting one. Only thing putting me off is it won't fit in my garage! Having said that, a good one with parabolic springs would be nice! Regards,
