I was told this was a project in the October 94 issue. Can anyone confirm this?

Here are some pictures and the mods that I know of.

stock fuel injected motor
power steering from a Sidekick
power steering cooler
custom spring over lift
32X11.5 Bridgestone Desert Duelers on unknown rims with spare
CJ-7 disk brakes up front
11" drums in the rear
5.13 gears with Detriot lockers F&R
Rock Lobster transfer case from Victory Engineering 6.5 low
custom skid plates
Rancho RS9000 5 way adjustable shocks
Warn hubs
Warn 6000 winch
ARB bumper
custom tow bar
Rear bumper is custom I think.
GM alternator
welder/power supply
the rocker panels are 1/4" plate steel
The shackles are custom pieces of plate steel welded to the bumper.
unknown springs
uniden CB
2 piece Bestop

Thank you for any info.

When I researched this rig from Salida Colorado late last year I found an editorial comment on this web site confirming it was a project vehicle. This is the link. http://blogs.4wdandsportutility.com/6583698/editorials/one-of-our-old-friends-resurfaces/index.html

That's an old sticker on there. would have been a pre-2000 project I would say. i joined on in January 2001 and i don't recall it ever being a project since then. It may be one of Phils from way back though. It does look familiar.
