Hi,

I have a question about this topic. I currently own a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and I am in the market for some new tires. I'm thinking about putting on some 35" Mickey Thompsons. I already have a 2" Performance Accessories body lift on my car (same one used in the article). My question is this.... The article say's to also have a 1.75" Front-to-Rear leveling kit for the extra clearance for the 35" tires.

""In this application, Performance Accessories also used a Trail Master 1.75-inch leveling kit. These are hard polyurethane spacers that fit above the factory coil spring to level out the front-to-rear ride height.""

Does this mean I should get the 1.75" leveling kit by Trail Master that is only supposed to be installed in the front to eliminate the front end sag? AKA this one? -->    http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=53223

Please let me know what anyone thinks!
Thanks, Brandon!

Brandon -

Put the 35" Mickey Thompsons on (an excellent choice, by the way) and see how your JK sits. Check also to see if the tires rub. If you then think spacers will be needed, they're easy to install. Personally, I'm not sure you'll need 1.75" spacers. There are spacers available, starting at .75", 1", 1.5", etc., that I've used in the past. I've even installed a spacer on the right front and none on the left to make my JK sit the way I want.

If you use spacers, don't forget to address your brake lines. For 1.75" of lift or less, I'd just unclip the brake line where it's attached behind the shock. That will usually give you enough slack.
