Quick question. in my 81 chevy k-10
im running a 12 bolt rear geared at a guess of 3.42 and dana 44 front geared around 3.73

when locking the hubs my back wheels seem like they are wanting to spin faster than my front resulting in my tires chirping.

do i need to be running exact gears front and rear or what can i do?

YES! run the same gears front & rear! and the same tire size. your not doing this on pavement are you? if so your transfer case or axles or u joints are gonna give out most likely a front axle u joint
