I have this transfer case that I pulled out from behind a 327 with a SM420 and I am a lil puzzled...  What exactly is is?  Is this a type of NP205 or am I holding an unknown hunk of iron?  Note the position of the shift levers.  Also... this case has no manufacturers id plate, and the only numbers on the casting are C-94361.  Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

That's a NP202 used in International Harvester Scout 1/2, 3/4, and 1-ton trucks from the '60s and '70s. it wasn't widely used and they are somewhat scare if you are a scout enthusiast searching for one. it's a 2-speed unit that is suitable for light duty use. two casting numbers were manufactured and both are interchangeable. it also has a PTO (power take off) for use in winching. hope this helps.
