I have an 88 dodge ram with a fuel injected 318. Im wanting to switch it over to a 4barrel carb, and eventualy a blower, or a dual carb and a weiand hi ram intake manifold. So my question is, will the 318 block handle it?

Any particular reason you want to go with a carb? Do you off-road much with it? Fuel injection is generally a lot better if you're off-roading. In regards to whether the 318 "block" can handle it, it's probably more likely a matter of if the pistons and connecting rods can take it. If you upgrade to forged, lower-compression pistons, and forged connecting rods, you could probably get that bad boy to over 500 horsepower. But if you cram a bunch of boost down an internally stock engine, you're probably going to blow something up sooner or later. I wouldn't run much more than about 6 psi of boost on stock internals.
