So I have been looking around about these silly little actuators for my 88 chevy axle! There not all that complex of a unit and only have a life span of about six months where its cold. The question I would like to ask hear is Has anyone made theres into a manual lock out? I know theres kits you can buy so you can put money into someone else's pocket,,, But I would rather keep the cash in my pocket.
Has Anyone ever made this happen yet? I was thinking may be a power door lock machanism or somthing in that line. Anyone elce have an idea,,,,,,? Things that make you hummmm,,,,,,,,.

You can purchase a manual lock out from 4x4 Posi-Lok. It uses a cable, shift fork, and imtermediate gear to engage the hubs manually. check it out at 4x4posi-lok.com
