With all the talk about a GM/Chrysler merger, there's a lot of speculation as to which Chrysler brands are going to survive, and which won't. It's almost certain Jeep is going to live on in one form or another. I think GM would love to kill or sell off Hummer, and bring Jeep into the fold. What do you forsee for the future of Jeep?

I can hardly wait to see what GM would do with Jeep, considering what a huge hummer can do, as long as they stay solid axles. then again..... what could a high clearance, long travel IFS with chevy's 1ton IFS aluminum housing diffs accomplish in a 4,000# jeep powered by a 5.3l v-8? nah... scratch that last thought! lol...
O' wait it could still work like a highclearance solid with those cv shafts and run 6 lugs with huge brakes.
