Yeah, I tried heading up the side one time. I made it about 15-20 ft. before I lost my footing and slid all the way down on a bare leg. I didn't try it again after that. Guess I should have after all. Oh well. Nice job.

Where is september's last coordinate. I know it has been found I just can't find it and it's getting on my nerves. I found the three in the boarders but can't find the other one. Please tell me a page number that would help. Chad

I found the August geocash. Took 2 1/2 hours of searching. It was only 50 feet from the road. About 100 feet closer than the coordinates indicated on my Garmin 250C.

It is on one of the last pages of the magazine. In the first picture of the little write-up about the white Toyota pickup. It is in the reader's rides section. Sorry, I don't have the magazine in front of me or I would give you a page number. -Max

You drove from Ft Collins??? Wow, you deserve it!
Mag just got to my house in Draper, UT today (carrier pigeon???) I got pretty excited tonight when I looked and found all the coordinates.
Prov is a great place to wheel.

The October "4 Wheel Drive and Sport Utility" mag arrived the other day... Looked through it twice...no cords, something wrong here... finally looked in the Geostash section, only to find the contest had ended...with no mention of another one starting!!! This is my husbands magazine, but he doesn't get it until I've figured out where the current stash is. It usually takes me a while because of the stories I get hooked on while looking.... I've also found several Christmas and birthday gifts through your advertisers while looking for the cords.... If there are no cords for me to look for, I probably won't pick this magazine up.
PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

As noted in the October issue the GeoStash IV contest ended in the September issue. We hope to continue the contest and are currently planning how to proceed with it. We unfortunately don't currently have the manpower to hold the contest monthly and may limit it to bi-monthly or even quarterly. Some readers have also requested that we simply hide a marker as a traditional cache with no prize attached, simply so they could find the coordinates and enjoy a fun trail ride.
Please feel free to share your ideas about how we should proceed with the GeoStash contest. We'd like to hear them. With luck, hopefully the contest can start up again by the first of the year.

Strictly Volunteer! Of course, managing volunteers would be a job! To the Geostash staff.....Thank you SO much for all of your hard work. It's been an absolute blast! Like someone said....Maybe we could have a "private 4wd & *** cache (with a forum thread) where we could hide a cache along one of our favorite trails. That cache could be only visible to 4wd & *** forum members. Since I was out 'til 2 am recovering a buddy's Tracker & Xterra, a nice muddy-stump laden run come to mind here in South Jersey! Check out "GCYDG3" over on geocaching.com
