I had some one check the location of the November marker and it has been confirmed that it is gone. I have not received any calls of any one finding it.

BrockGrimes: Which ones are still out there?
There are currently no active markers. The January issue will be on sale next week and subscribers should start receiving their copies any day now.

Is there a thread with past marker coordinates? Even if the markers are gone I gather the rides to the spots are still worth checking out.

There is not a thread with the past marker locations or coordinates although each location is revealed in the magazine along with the winner's photo.
However, I agree that it would be neat to explore some of the expired marker locations just to do it. I will assemble the coordinates for the marker locations that have already been found and will post it in a new thread. I am away from the office today and don't have the info with me but I will do my best to get it up in a new thread by early next week.
Thanks for your participation in the contest. Wheel on.

I looked through the January issue I got today, and found enough of the coordinates to confirm they are not remotely near me. Now I can relax and read the magazine normally again.

Ok, so I found the coordinates last Tuesday, finally had time to go look today and couldn't find it.
Either it has been picked up and not posted, or the half inch of snow covered it up so good that I didn't find it.

It looks like the marker may have been found. I will confirm this on Monday and will post more info then.

Is there a place that lists the pages where the coordinates are found? I know the Dec stash has been found, but I cannot find two of the coordinates in the magazine...and I have searched page by page. I have the 36 deg (on the box) and the 20.507 west (side of Zone jeep pic) Where are the other two???
Thanks, Brett

I drove four hours to get the location of the January marker. I got there saturday morning at 4:00am. It was raining and then turned to snow. I got to the location where the marker was suppose to be and it was gone. I spent an hour looking around and by the time I got back to my jeep I was drenched and freezing. I hope I find someone found it and I missed it.

Henry, I know what you mean, I was there 3 hours after you and I didn't find it either. At least my drive was only 2 hours. The snow was 1/2 deep and it had started raining again.
On the up side, I saw 3 vehicles in the ditches on the way. Once on the seasonal road, I saw 2 deer, a pheasant, and a hedge hog.

Has anyone found both degrees? I have looked through the whole mag 6 times and my wife has looked 3. I can't find the degrees, probably in the early pages of the mag. I have found the N and W, and one Degree in the later pages.
Thanks
