Anybody ever heard of inner lockers on a geo tracker? Mechanic says about 300$ a wheel just for parts. First time i've heard of inner lockers. If anyone has some 411 on this for ,it would be greatly appreciated  

I think you need better clarification from the mechanic about what exactly is being done. Is it maybe bearings and seals that are being replaced at $300 a wheel?  

Already had wheel bearing replaced on both sides within the last 6 months. When you grab onto the cv joints i get about 3/16's of side to side play. i'm assuming that theres some type of bearing that carries the splined shaft thru the hub. mech says its the inner lockers
