Hey, I'm new here, and I'm sure you've been asked a million times, but what are you guys driving?

I've got a 1999 Grand Cherokee WJ
My wish list:
-8" L.A. suspension from RockCrawler
-315-75-16 Goodyear MT's
-New Diffs (haven't decided what would be best)
-ARB air lockers
-Supercharger

Right now it's mostly stock with a 2.5" suspension level, which is absolutely fine but I've been dreaming about making it a better offroad vehicle. I sure wish I could find a tummy tucker for it since my biggest complaint is the transfer case hangs too low and its the first thing to hit the ground when wheeling.

Anyways, tell me what you have. Are there any other WJ enthusiasts here?

had an 88 XJ

have an 86 CJ, 08 KK, 99 WJ

getting an 08 WK

I was looking to lift my WJ also before the motor went. I did some research and found out the clayton kit is probably the best on the market for the WJ. At least thats what I was told. Unfortunately i wont ever find out first hand.

Check out Kevin's Off road. Big Grand Cherokee guy. seems to be very knowledgeable. He should be able to help you out.

No Jeep right now...but I do have my eye on a TJ some time in the near future.  I'm amazed at the vast array of aftermarket parts available for the TJ, and how easy the Wrangler (YJ, TJ, and JK) is to make modifications to.  This also goes for the similar Jeeps (CJ, MB, M38-A1) of previous years.

I like most Jeep vehicles, but there are parts of the Jeep culture that I just can't get into.  Chief among those parts would be the one that runs "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand" stickers.  Why?

1.It's elitist and abrasive
2.Jeep didn't make the Thing.  VW made the Thing.

Similarly, you won't find me running a "Jeep Recovery Team" sticker on my Toyota.  Why?

1.I'd rather make friends than foes on the trail.
2.The anti-access Greenies don't care what we drive.   Instead, they just want to see us gone completely.
