Which model do you think is the best Jeep ever? CJ-5? CJ-7? J-20? TJ? JK?

The Jeep TJ is the best ever model. You can do just about anything you want to it,the sky's the limit and also your pocket book and your wife.

we cant very well rate the jk because most of us have not had the chance to see it in action or drive it yet.
i must say my rubicon (tj) makes most trails a walk in the park.  the wife and pocket book have been the difficult part.
i guess it really depends who is behind the wheel on the vehicle to how is going to perform.
i am really partial to a built cj.....

I would say either the TJ or XJ due to the coil springs.

i'm partial to my 95 yj, but i gotta give the title to the jk because of the coil setup. i talked with people that have them, and they all agree, it rides alot nicer than anything that came before it.

I've owned 11 Jeeps from a 42 MB to my 05 LJ Unlimited that I converted into a RubiScrambler.

The best street & trail rig was my 03 AiRocked Rubicon.

Do miss my modified M715& the MB.

the tj is a great platform to build on if you like that kind of thing. if it's not you still have a comfortable rig to drive. way more than my yj was (when stock).

there is not much left on my jeep that was there when new. it has ford, chevy, cherokee, fullsize jeep parts, durango, dakota and who kows what else...

a jeep might just be what you make it

Wow. I'm a little surprised. I know the JK was really controversial when it first came out. I thought everyone would say "TJ all the way!" But I guess not. Having the 4-door option is nice, but they need something other than that gutless minivan engine!

lol, that gutless minivan engine outruns my rubi!

I'm kinda tossed up between the tj and the jk. it won't be long till the jk has all the same bolt on and other goodies as the tj has had 10 years to develope.

the jk is stock with basically the same supsension as the tj with a mediocre long arm suspension, high line fenders and a little wider track, I could do without the fourdoor version completely....
Just going Putt Putt 03 Rubi HD 2.5" competition rancho lift, Nth degree HD adjustable front track bar, Nth oil pan skid, Nth front and rear sliders, Nth stinger, rubicon express front upper control arms, 4:88's and 34x12.5-16 TrXus M/T's.

Yeah, I keep forgetting the TJ isn't a Cherokee.    My buddy has a Cherokee, and those things are so darn light, that the 4.0L feels like a fireball in those things! I guess between the TJ and the JK, there's not a whole lot of a difference in power, and if anything from what I've heard, the JK is a little better!
