Advice Please!
I have a 99 Explorer and am wanting to put a 4" suspension lift on it. Since I am new to 4-wheeling (all of my experience is in muscle cars), what tire size would you recommend and how do I go about determining the wheel backspacing? I'm not looking to get the truck as high in the air as possible, but more of an "agressive" stance where the tires hang out the sides of the wheel well a couple inches. My thought was more along the lines of a 31" tire size.

Also, any recommendations on whose lift kit to go with?

Any help is very much appreciated!

I think you might be able to go to 33s with a 4" lift. Don't quote me on that, but I think an Explorer is big enough where you could go slightly bigger.
