I figure this is the best place to ask.
I have a 1985 Chevrolet Silverado Blazer, full size.
It has the stock transfer case on it, and I was wondering if anyone knew the gears.
I don't have the ability to take the transfer case off, myself, and look at it, for a number of reasons.
I was told by a good source that it has 3.08.
I find it hard to believe, due to the fact that it's Dodge and Ford counterparts (Bronco and Ramcharger) have at least 4.56 gears, if not, lower.
Would the Chevy gearing be this far off from it's counterparts, or is my friend's knowledge of the truck not very good?

the 85 is more likely to have 3.42's maybe even 3.73's in the diffs, the 208 t-case is 2.61 in low range...
very few have 4.56's stock...
Just going Putt Putt 03 Rubi HD 2.5" competition rancho lift, Nth degree HD adjustable front track bar, Nth oil pan skid, Nth front and rear sliders, Nth stinger, rubicon express front upper control arms, 4:88's and 34x12.5-16 TrXus M/T's.
