It was posted that the February 2008 GeoStash marker was found, however, I have not received verification from the person who claims to have found it. This could mean that the marker is still out there. If someone is feeling adventerous they might take this opportunity to check to see if the marker is still there. I have looked and looked. I cannot find the February coordinate for Geostash you are to post. It does not show up as a sticky with a date of 02-15-08. Where is it? Why don't you put this information on the home page? Everyone starts there and Geostash is really popular. Thanks, Gary  

The North Coordinate for the February 2008 Geostash contest is 44° 23.244.  

A reader notified me a month ago that he found the February marker but he has not responded to my phone calls so I can't verify that he actually has the marker. I can not guarantee that the February marker is still at the location it was hidden, so if you go out looking and it's not there then maybe it has been found and the reader simply doesn't want the prize.

I agree it would be nice to have the coordinate posted on the main page but typically the current coordinate is pretty easy to find in the GeoStash forum. Also, if it's the latest post this will be indicated on the site's main page. hope this helps. good luck.  

The February issue GeoStash III marker has finally been found. I received the marker today as verification. More information will appear in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
