well only 200 are gonna be sold in the UK, an anniversary edition 2008 Defender, these would probably sell good in the US?
I nearly bought one myself a few years back, then Angelina made the Rubicon look sooo good.

Yeah, I always liked the Defender. Interesting alternative to the Wrangler. A little pricey, though.

yeah, although it's just like we all seem to want out of the wranglers, a little longer, wider, stonger axles, v-8 and it just looks tuff!
on the new defender, well the 07 anyway, I haven't actually found any specs on the limited 08, they have a puny 2.4ltr diesel residing in the engine bay, kinda lame unless it really get with the program.

Yeah, but that turbodiesel probably has something like 300 lb./ft. of torque! I'd take a torquey diesel four-banger for the trail over a gas-sucking V-8 any day!
