i have a 98 infiniti qx4 with a little over 100,000 miles. it has been driving good. there has been a slight rattle coming from underneath the vehicle lately, but it sounded like a loose heatshield.
i put it in reverse this morning and the front end kind of dipped. it acted fine when i put it in drive. i tried reverse again and the same thing happened. it was in reg. 2wd.  i can drive it in 4wd high. i know its usually tough to diagnose a problem on a vehicle without seeing it. but does anyone have any idea what the problem is? any help will be greatly appreciated.
