I am looking at lifting my 2003 Jeep Rubicon by 3.5 inches. I was looking at installing the Rubicon Express 3.5 inch lifts, and noticed they have both the long arm set and the short arm set at this height. This Jeep is not only used for trails, but also used to go back and forth from work. Can anyone tell me what they would recomend and why?
The cost really isn't a factor, but I'm more interested in how the Jeep will ride and gas mileage.
Thanks,

with money not a factor, go with a long arm RE kit, better ride, longer travel, and a high clearance skid plate. you may have to modify the exhaust for some long arm kits especially if you get the rear y link, I still prefer the 4 link and good ol track bar rear. I have a short arm 2.5" competition rancho kit on my 03 rubi and about 1.5 spacers in the front to level it out,RE upper control arm, nth degree sliders and rear stinger, It lets me have the maxium travel the arms and shocks will allow. (I have shocks for a 6" lift for maxed out travel) and unbelievable traction. on hwy handling is excellent. this allows 34x12.5-16 truxus m/t's, It does rub the front fenders slightly, only with the swaybar disconnected.
