Rumors have been flying for some time about Hummer's desire to expand its brand beyond the H2 and H3 lineup, especially now that the H1, the vehicle that started the Hummer craze, has gone off to the glue factory.

The new line, reportedly called the H4, would be the mini-Hummer, and everything from a dune buggy to a pickup truck has been speculated about. Apparently, we now have the somewhat official word from the TopSpeed web site that GM, which has hinted at the new line for some time, has acknowledged the project's existence.
