The Jeep® Liberty has remained a leader in the mid-size sport-utility vehicle (SUV) market since its introduction in 2002. The popular mid-size SUV gives off-road enthusiasts and owners their own sense of personal freedom and capability that only defines the Jeep brand.
All-new from the ground up for 2008, the Jeep Liberty remains true to its legendary 4x4 heritage by offering two Jeep Trail Rated® four-wheel-drive systems – Command-Trac® and the all-new Selec-Trac® II. On-road ride and handling have been improved and refined with the new independent front suspension, new five-link rear suspension and rack-and-pinion steering.

The folding roof is cool, but why not the Nitro's 4.0L engine? The 3.7 is a joke.

i just bought one for my wife and i have to tell you i really like driving it. I own a cj7 i have owned an 88 XJ and i sort of still own a 99 WJ limited and the 08 Lib really feels nice on the highway. It lacks some power off the line but its fine for my wife. I'd like to see them offer the 4.7 in there. Maybe the 6 speed makes the 3.7 a little better - i probably will never know first hand.
