Near Virginia? Check out Camp Jeep!

July 26-28 Jeep will be holding its family friendly Jeep Off-Road festivities in Central Virginia near the heart of the famed Appalachian Trail. There will be offroad experts taking Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited Owners on heavy duty expeditions. Meanwhile Compass owners are given the Compass Soundgarden-a concert featuring Tim McGraw and the B52's. How hardcore is that?
   In addition to offroad entertainment for the parents there is a skate park and plenty of hiking for the kids. The Camp is for tenters only. People who need a hotel will have to stay in one of the nearby towns. If interested in this event go to:

Does anyone know where the best places to stay for this Camp Jeep?  I called Jeep directly yesterday and they told me it will be held at the same place this year but registration has not been set up at this time.

Camping the best?  bring a camper?  tent?  are there showers?  etc.

I'm new to this and really want to go but need some guidance from fellow jeepers.
