What is your favorite trail fridge? ARB? Do you just use a plain plastic cooler? How do you keep your trail food cool?

Coleman makes a great one that will work in the house/office as well as in the truck. I got mine from Wal-Mart for $75. The only thing I'd change is a retainer strap on the lid so that when you open it up all the way it doesn't fall off the hinge. But thats an easy fix....or will be once I get around to it.

Right now i just use a plain old plastic cooler... it works but i have heard good things about the ARB freezer/fridges. I have seen pics in magazines and have heard good reviews on them. It seems like they hold up to any abuse you throw at it and they are capable of not only keeping cool but can also freeze food solid. all that while only pulling less than 5 amps. If i had the money to drop on a cooler i would probably drop it on an ARB

If I had the cash, the DaddyCool Fridge.. man that thing is cool! www.daddycoolfridge.com
But for now I use my trusty ole' red cooler. That cooler has been on so many trips with me in the last 5 years, its like a member of the family. Everywhere from my first trip to glamis, to my first trip to Baja, that cooler has been there!
