I just wanted to extend a welcome to all Suzuki Sidekick and Samurai fans. Naturally, Geo Tracker owners and enthusiasts are welcome as well.

Hi My wife and I just bought an ,89 Zuk Sammy. It is relativly stock except it was changed from a soft top to a hard top before we got it. It has what we think to have 200+G miles on it. Is there any thing we might need to know about such as week spots or week links that I should be worried about? We have already done a tune up on it and it runs better. I would like to lift it with slightly bigger tires. Any were from 245,15 to 31,15 may be a 4" lift or bigger I dont know if I want to leave the axle over or go axle under. I would like to keep a good sure stance due to the fact that my wife is going to be the capt. How hard is it to change to toy axles for a wider track width?

Hey Scotty! Check out this story from the latest issue of 4WD&SU about using Toyota parts to build up a Samurai. Granted, this is a pretty radically-modified rig, but at least it'll give you an idea of what you can do. http://www.4wdandsportutility.com/tech/0611_4wd_samurai_axle_upgrade/index.html
