Any more news on this so-called Scion fighter?

They can call it whatever they want, but it ain't no Bronco! Maybe a Bronco II. LOL. The new Bronco needs to have genuine street cred like the new FJ Cruiser. That means body-on-frame, beefy 4x4 hardware, and at least a gutsy V-6, and preferable 1 or 2 V-8 options to choose from. Those concept car guys need to put down their lattes, get out of their Euro-chic loft apartments, un-plug their iPods loaded with trance music, and go out there and hit the trails, change a few 38s with Hi-Lifts, and gather 'round the campfire and eat some Pork & Beans to know what REAL Bronco enthusiasts want!

I LIKE IT, reminds me of the old school bronco before it doubled in size,( NOT OJ's BRONCO ) . overall id say it has potential, maybe give the wrangler a run for its money ...

i agree with esanchez, they need to put down the latte and hit the trails...it seems like they just think stuff up for the futuristic look forgetting that we need something functional and trail tough.

Unless it has solid axles front and rear, leave it on the drawing board. The after-market is a great equalizer as far as off road performance. However, I'm not gutting the whole suspension just so I can get some decent wheelin' in. case point the Ultimate FJ.

that FJ was really nice when it got finished, however it is alot of work.. someone tell the vehicle manufactures to put in a live axle and call it a day...goodness..

I think if Ford's really serious about bringing back the Bronco, they should look at the JK Wrangler as a good starting point. However, I do think the JK is a little heavy and a little underpowered.

Some cutesy-looking urban crossover thingie wouldn't last 15 minutes on the trail!
