did anyone know that in four wheeler mag the h3 got picked best truck overall for the year 2006. I like the hummer and all but i wouldn't expect that, what do you think about it?  

horrible choice for best of the year, What I believe made this H3 a flop, figuratively speaking , is the weak motor, same motor as the colorado except the h3 weights 2 times as much if not more. Who cares about the leather interior and sunroof, would rather of had a bigger motor with a bit less luxury. Land Rover should have taken it to the house for best truck of the year.  

I agree. I think the H3 is embarrasing. They should have offered it with the Vortec 5300 V-8 as an option from day one. The 3.7 is a little better than the 3.5, but still no fireball, especially considering how heavy it is. At least the 5.3 would give it decent power.
