I have to geo trackers, one is for parts and is a 4wd auto. and the other is a 2wd auto. What all do I have to do to change my 2wd over to a 4wd. Also what is the best way to lift it up. I have had several samurais, but this is the first tracker.   thanks....

I checked with the staff and we haven’t ever run across any tech for a Geo Tracker. I suggest keep surfing the internet for information on this vehicle.

Don’t take this the wrong way but if I had two Geo Trackers I would sell them and pick up a vehicle that is easily modified and already 4WD. An old CJ or YJ can be pretty reasonable these days.

When I was in Moab this year I saw several nice lifted geo/sidekicks. There were 2 venders in the arena with there stuff. Calmini was one.

Check out this site I think you find that the tracker is highly modifiable. From basic lift to V8 conversion.

Dont take this the wrong way, but this site is very bias toward Jeep. If their teckies couldn't find anything about trackers. I wouldn't ride in one of their Chrysler products. I had a buddy with one it was always stuck or broke or both.

Seems like it would be easier just to buy a 4x4 model and start from there. I suppose anything is possible, and sometimes the 2wd and 4wd models are very similar and have interchangeable parts, but not always. Keep us posted!
