Grand Cherokee Getting hot

This seems to be a character trait of evry inline six jeep I have ever owned. I have a 93 Grand 4.0l that gets up to 220 even 240 with my a/c on in stop & go traffic. It makes the a/c not perform well when it gets this hot. I bought it used & have replaced a lot of things to try to correct this, such as water pump (flowkooler), radiator (3 row), fan clutch, thermostat. The Cherokees that I have owned all have an electric fan in addition to the engine fan, but my grand only has room for the engine fan. I I thinking about a Ford Taurus fan to replace engine fan. Does any body have experience with this conversion & is it worth the work? Or is this just something I must live with?
